Human Population Grows Up
- As we swell toward nine billion in the next half a century, humanity will undergo historic changes in the balance between young and old, rich and poor, urban and rural. Our choices now and in the years ahead will determine how well we cope with our coming of age
- The global population growth rate to 1.1 or 1.2% a year today resulted primarily from choices by billions of couples around the world to limit the number of children born.
- Everyone 45 years old or older today has been more than a doubling of human numbers from 3 billion in 1960 to 6.5 billion in 2005
- From 2003 on, the median woman worldwide had, and will continue to have, too few or just enough children during her timeline to replace her self and the father in the following generation
It has been calculated that by the year 2050 there will be over 9 billion people in the world. More people more problems created; medical advances one reason for the increase in the human population. Human population caused by the rate people are having children. This problem effects our Earth by the fact that we are wasting our natural resources much more faster because more people are coming into this world, all of the diseases are spreading a lot more faster than the medicine that is coming out; our water supply is slowly reducing, we are cutting. One of the great economic problems in the world is there are unlimited needs, but limited resources. With populations growing exponentially each year, this problem of limited resources will become more and more significant.
I think we should educate ourselves and people around you about the important of human population growth of our world. The more people on the planet, the less resources we have. Also, there will be many complicated and new diseases appear that very harmful to people. Apply birth control to slow down the population
So what?
- it's very important to slow down the population growth
What if?
- the human population rapidly increase and hit the point 9 billions or even more?
Says who?
